About Event
The 2025 Conference of the Parties (COP30) will be held in Belém, Brazil, from November 10-21. With a summit in the heart of the Amazon - a key symbol in the fight against the climate crisis - the unity of our movements is crucial.
As we all suffer extreme weather conditions for another year, fossil fuel corporations continue to influence climate policy, while billionaires take control of the US government, determined to influence not only the climate agenda but also a global hegemony based on war.
This November, once again, inspiring climate action events will take place around the world, emphasising an anti-fascist stance in favour of the most vulnerable and all biodiversity on our planet 🌿
We need WELFARE not WARFARE.
Join us on Saturday 15th for our annual Climate March and Summit, to continue educating and inspiring each other:
🌿 11am - Open Mic at Guildhall Square - 3min per person to share reflections, poems, chants, ideas, etc.
🌿 12noon - Climate March through the city centre - bring your placards, whistles, chants, joy!
🌿 1pm - Community Meal at Sherwell Church hall - free, vegan and some gluten-free options. A chance to chill and chat.
🌿 2pm - Workshops
A space for networking, relaxing, and chatting over a cuppa will be available at all times in the hall. There will also be campaign stalls from different organisations.
