Plymouth’s Summer of Nature

We’re excited to have launched an amazing Summer of Nature events calendar across Plymouth. The calendar includes over 50 events(!) happening throughout the summer holidays and is a real testament to the many partnerships and communities across the city. From nature skills boot camps to swimming lessons, bioblitzes to beach cleans, the Summer of Nature is a jam packed schedule of free activities that gives people of all ages a chance to enjoy some of Plymouth's most beautiful scenery. Whether it's green spaces — like our parks, woodlands or nature reserves — or blue spaces, like Tinside and Firestone Bay, there's something for everyone.

Hot on the heels of the calendar, we are ready and raring to get the Summer of Nature survey out amongst Plymouth’s communities, and we’d love to hear from you!

The survey is a PCC led initiative and is an opportunity for us to find out more about how people in Plymouth feel about Plymouth’s nature. This will help to inform our future plans for nature in the city. The survey is running throughout August and we’d like to hear from a broad range of people from all across Plymouth.
