Unlocking UK ports' potential to cut carbon across international supply chains

7 March | 16:00 – 17:30 | Main Campus, University of Plymouth, and online

With ports handling 95% of UK goods, these complex transport ecosystems have a pivotal role to play in decarbonising supply chains. The right port strategy could even drive national net-zero ambitions from the South West.

We’re joined by industry expert John Trenchard for a guest talk. John is the Vice President Commercial and Supply Chain at DP World UK, where large-scale decarbonisation efforts are being made.

Following an insightful presentation, our green shipping expert and lecturer in Maritime Economics, Dr Stavros Karamperidis, will lead a discussion and audience Q&A.
