About Event

Join us for a fun-filled day of hedgerow planting at Mount Gould park! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us enhance the biodiversity of the area by planting hedgerow whips to create valuable habitat.

Led by one of our National Trust rangers, we will be continuing our hedgerow habitat creation by planting a variety of native hedgerow whip species.

Please note that this is weather dependent - if it is extreme wind or rain we will reschedule.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join some of the Plymouth Natural Grid team who have been working on the site to increase habitat for wildlife.

Our volunteering sessions are a great chance to learn about the project and the work that we carry out across the city. If you are interested in joining us on a regular basis, there will be an opportunity to register at the end of the session as a Plymouth Natural Grid Volunteer!

This session is suitable for all those interested in nature and the outdoors, whether you want to meet other like-minded people or are looking to learn more about it.
