Young Climate Ambassadors Workshop

The session will begin at Admiral’s Hard, where our Ambassadors will catch the Cremyll ferry across to Mount Edgcumbe. Once there, the group will take a walk, stopping at the Garden battery on the way before heading down to the beach with National Marine Park Rangers for a guided beach clean.

Young people will help collect litter from the shoreline, with a particular focus on plastic pollution. The plastic collected will then be used in a future Young Climate Ambassador workshop with Precious Plastics, where it will be transformed into something new and given a second life ♻️✨

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about marine conservation, discover the impact of plastic pollution on our coastline and take positive action for the environment alongside other young people who care about Plymouth’s future.

📍 Meet at Admiral’s Hard, Cremyll Ferry Lnading

The group will catch the 4.15pm ferry to Cremyll and return on the 6pm ferry, arriving back at Admiral’s Hard at approximately 6.15pm.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for walking on the beach and bring a weather-appropriate jacket 🌦️🥾
