Borrow Don't Buy (BDB) is a Community Interest Company and Social Enterprise. We believe 'You CAN have access to the things you need without it costing the Earth'

We are Plymouth's Library of Things where people can access the items they need to use, but don't need to own, to save buying them. This saves people money, space in their homes and helps them reduce their environmental impact! We have facilitated over 6500 loans, have an inventory of almost 1000 items and over 2500+ people signed up to date!

We also run the Getting Everyone Online (GEO) digital inclusion project and are a member of the Plymouth Digital Inclusion Network (DIN). We take donations of unused and unwanted tech, refurbish it and redistribute it to people experiencing digital exclusion in the local area with the help of partner organisations!

Any 'things' that come to us that we can't use for our projects we sell on our eBay store helping us get more pre-loved items to people who need them and back into use, helping to fund our projects!
