Carparison
Organisation Bio
Carparison Ltd is a provider of leased vehicles to the South West region as well as nationally. As a brokerage, we provide many finance methods to make the transition to electric vehicles affordable, including Contract Hire and Salary Sacrifice.
The business facilitates the sale of approximately 2500 electric vehicles per year with this expected to grow to beyond 3000 in 2024. As well as funding, we have a consultancy team that helps SME's and small corporate organisations make the transition to a greener, more sustainable mobility solution.
Based in Exeter, we are a unique organisation geographically and partner with a number of local companies to help spread the word of the work that our team do both nationally and locally.
We are multi award winning in our sector and are a shining light for female inclusion, in an industry that is so heavily male dominated.

What we provide
We have a regional BDM team, of whom Chris Bagwell is the nominated candidate for the Plymouth area. We not only provide extremely competitive funding packages for our clients but we actually commit to large volumes of stock directly with OEMs such as Tesla and BYD which enables us to trigger larger discounts, that we pass directly onto our clients, meaning we offer in most instances, access to exclusive procurement that makes that transition much easier.
We can fund business critical vehicles such as company cars and vans, mainly via Contract Hire. We also have a salary sacrifice offering to help our clients drive employee retention and engagement with green initiatives and perks which is really gaining great traction.
We host live events (in person and webinars) to support our clients with a truly consultative stance on the road to EV and how they can start to make a real difference.
About our climate journey
As a provider of products that help others transition to a greener future, we've often found the biggest challenge is "practicing what we preach".
We're a modest team of 30 or so employees. We partner with "Climate Partner" and have done since 2022 who assist us with the calculations of our carbon footprint. Initially we "invested" in global projects to offset our own emissions, but were very aware this was a temporary solution and could be considered "greenwashing", so we're working on our own projects.
The building we occupy generates 25% of it's energy usage since we had solar pv panels fitted, and our fleet of vehicles is moving over to 80% EV by the end of the year.
