Heyl Bakery is a 100% plant-based artisan sourdough bakery located in Alma Yard in Plymouth. We specialise in using organically-grown UK stoneground flours and heritage grains to make flavoursome, nutritious loaves and sweet bakes.
We are passionate about sustainability, and work with as many organic, local and seasonal ingredients as possible, as well as taking steps to minimise our waste, including donating leftover bread and using plastic-free packaging.
About our climate journey
As a 100% vegan bakery committed to using organically-grown UK grain we are already well ahead of many other bakeries in reducing our environmental impact. However, we know we can be doing so much more and are keen to take further steps to protect our precious planet.
