About our climate journey

The biggest achievement for us so far has been designing a Coaching programme (IMPACT) which supports our clients to assess their impact on people & the planet & take action to improve their scores. By designing this programme we are able to have a significant ripple effect through our clients, some of whom are large organisations.

Biggest climate achievement to date

Impact Coaching is a growing business & as we grow there will be more opportunities for us to build out our plan for supporting people & the planet. At present we are just taking all the steps we can which includes things like holding coaching sessions online wherever possible to avoid travel pollution, buying our office products from sustainable suppliers, printing only when absolutely necessary, supporting our clients to be more climate focused & make positive changes within their business. Whilst these are only small steps we know that if all organisations take little steps to reduce their carbon footprint this will cumulatively result in significant positive impact.

Most difficult climate challenge faced

At the moment we run a very lean organisation so the size of our organisation is presently a limit to the impact we can have but as we grow we will have more opportunity to minimise our carbon footprint further (& support more clients to do the same) we will be able to have greater impact.

Best climate advice or tip for others

Don't be overwhelmed about where to start, just start. It doesn't have to be complex, just start with the small, quick easy wins & work from there. I spent a lot of time researching carbon footprints & sustainability whereas in reality some of the changes I have made were really simple & could have been done earlier.
