Millfields Inspired is a charity established and supported by the Millfields Trust, an established and respected social enterprise in the Stonehouse neighbourhood.

The Trustees of Millfields Inspired are committed to creating sustainable change by developing the Widening Horizons programme and other initiatives such as 'Inspire Me' and 'Connecting Communities' where we work with children and families in our area of need.

About our climate journey

The Trustees of Millfields Inspired are committed to creating sustainable change by extending and developing the Widening Horizons programme and other initiatives within the charity.

We work with local schools and take children out to local workplaces to raise levels of aspiration and build confidence. We ensure that we walk to our trips and use locally sourced partners and companies when putting on events. The use of local food companies, transport companies, supplies and so is is at our every thought. We have plans to develop a grow your own lunch project into the local pre-schools encouraging and educating children that local and homegrown is best.
Additionally, we run a World Ocean Day, do a litter pick and educate the children about climate change, the ocean, use of plastics and how to be considerate of their community and world around them.

We try where we can to be mindful of what we do and how we do it.
