Plymouth Hub for Climate Justice
Organisation Bio
The Plymouth Hub for Climate was formed in 2019 and became the Plymouth Hub for Climate Justice in May 2023. Its aim is to coordinate and create activities to highlight the climate emergency, acting as an umbrella for climate activities in Plymouth. It is affiliated to the national climate justice network which provides shared learning with similar groups nationwide as well as locally in Plymouth.
It is the organiser of the annual Climate Summit, March and Community Meal that takes place to coincide with the UN COP meetings, as well as other events.
We are part of the Plymouth Climate Hub 2025 Collective, which has a shed at The Plot, 80-84 Union Street, PL1 3EZ. Please visit! We are also involved in organising workshops as part of this collective.
About our climate journey
We are made of a mixture of people of longstanding concerns about climate change and those more recently involved, all worried about the future of the planet and the need to massively reduce fossil fuel emissions. The Plymouth Hub for Climate Hub was formed in 2019 and became The Plymouth Hub for Climate Justice in 2023.
