Bike Week doesn't have to be about long weekend rides or Lycra - it's all about small changes and sweet everyday journeys.

What is Bike Week?

Bike Week is a nationwide initiative that encourages more people to cycle – not just for fun, but as a nifty and sustainable way to travel. Organised by Cycling UK, it runs from 9 to 15 June 2025 and is all about promoting the everyday benefits of cycling: from improving mental and physical wellbeing to cutting down on traffic and pollution.

At its core, Bike Week is a celebration of the humble bike ride. It’s about cycling to the shops, to work, to meet friends. Swapping just one short car trip for a bike ride can have a big impact, and this is the perfect week to give it a go.

The impact of choosing to ride

It might feel like a small switch – but riding instead of driving makes a big difference. Those carbon emission savings rack up. Every bike journey helps reduce traffic congestion, cuts air pollution, and lowers carbon emissions. It’s also great for your overall health and wellbeing – even short rides get you away from those pesky screens and help you unlock some much-needed serotonin.

Beryl Bike Week Offer

If Bike Week alone isn’t tempting enough, to help more people get involved, we’re offering 15% off 100 Minute Bundles all week – from 9 to 15 June. Consider it a little incentive to give cycling a go, or to ride a little more often if you’re already converted.

You can use your minutes on bikes or e-bikes, and they’re valid even after Bike Week ends. Just make sure you grab your discounted bundle by Sunday 15 June to make the most of the offer.

Take on the Bike Week Challenge

As part of this year’s Bike Week celebrations, we’re inviting you to take on the Bike Week Challenge: complete a different ride challenge each day from 9 to 15 June. Tick a different activity off each day, and – we’ll say this bit quietly – there’s no pressure to do all 7 days, see how many you can get through and most of all, remember to keep it fun!

Monday – Cycle to work
Tuesday- Run an errand on two wheels
Wednesday -Take a midweek mental health ride
Thursday – Go for a social ride with a pal
Friday – Get out for a sunrise or sunset spin
Saturday – Ride to get your weekend brunch or lunch
Sunday- Go explore a new part of your city and unlock a new route
