About our climate journey

In collaboration with British Cycling and Plymouth City Council, Plymouth Bike hire has set up the Adapted E-Cycle Hub designed to make cycling accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. The Plymouth Adapted E-Cycle Hub is an innovative initiative aimed at enhancing sustainable transportation options and increasing inclusivity by establishing a specialised Adapted Electric Assist Cycle facility with 10 recumbent ICE trikes. The hub aims to build relationships and development within the local adapted cycling community, addressing inequalities and promoting inclusivity through adapted cycles and e-bikes. It supports the volunteer network and collaborates with specialist practitioners to enhance the adapted cycling offer and promote sustainable transport.
